TEST SELECTION
The CPACE consists of two separate test components:
- The CPACE–Written is a computer-based test administered in a four-hour test session that includes 15 minutes to complete a nondisclosure agreement and a tutorial. The test is offered during three six-day windows each year. Refer to "Test Dates" for information about the test schedule.
- The CPACE–Video requires the candidate to submit a video recording with related documentation. The schedule is based on submission deadlines—these are dates by which completed submissions must be received by the CPACE Program in order for candidates to be mailed their score reports on the corresponding score report date. There are three submission deadlines during the current CPACE program year. Refer to "Test Dates" for more information about the CPACE–Video, including the registration/change deadlines, submission deadlines, and score report dates.
Both components must be passed to achieve passing status on the CPACE. For more information about the CPACE, see "Program Overview." Refer to "CPACE Passing Requirements" for information about passing requirements for each component.
You must register for the CPACE–Written and CPACE–Video separately.
